Multi-Filler
Application:
The manual multi-filler from PTI A/S is used for a wide range of different filling tasks, such as filling into cups, baking molds, foil trays, bags, and much more.
Dosing is based on the piston pump principle, where the stroke length can be varied. The piston and filler tube can also be easily exchanged for larger or smaller dosing amounts per stroke. The system is pneumatically driven and controlled. The pump can run single strokes or pump continuously.
- The system is supplied with a product-adapted filling nozzle that fits the specific product perfectly.
Advantages:
- Interchangeable nozzles for individual adaptation to the various products. Can dose particle sizes up to 20mm depending on the liquid content.
- Disassembly and cleaning are very quick and simple since the entire pump assembly is disassembled by removing clamp connections. A CIP (Clean-In-Place) cleaning can be performed on the filler. The pump can be supplied with many different options such as suction lance, hopper, product-adapted filling valve, etc.
Features:
- All parts that are part of the pump are designed so that in the event of a break or disassembly, they cannot “fall” out of the pump and into the packaging during filling.
- Approved for food use with FDA/USDA certifications.
- All materials that come into contact with food are approved according to EU Regulation 1935/2004.

Options:
The multi-filler can be supplied with many different options depending on the task at hand. Below are options PTI A/S has manufactured for the filler to solve specific tasks.
- Hopper 20 liters.
- Suction hose with lance and check valve.
- Column with swivel wheels, adjustable height 950 – 1250mm (fig. 1).
- Column with swivel wheels and fixed height, height 1100mm.
- Table stand with machine shoes.
- Cylinder and piston for filling in the range of 15 – 300 ml.
- Cylinder and piston for filling in the range of 50 – 500 ml.
- Filling valve type 1, for bottling products of a very thick liquid nature, e.g., mashed potatoes. Can handle particles up to approximately 20mm (Fig. 2).
- Filling valve type 2, for bottling medium-thick products, e.g., dressing, ketchup, etc. (Fig. 3).
- Filling nozzle internal diameter Ø8, Ø10, and Ø12. Fits filling valve type 2 (Fig. 4)>
- Drip-free filling nozzle with silicone valves. Fits filling valve type 2 (Fig. 5)
Customer-specific options:
Custom-specific options can be manufactured depending on the task at hand, the following are examples:
- The container/tank is elevated above the machine.
- Container with agitator to keep the product homogeneous during bottling.
